أبرمت مفوضية الاعتماد الأكاديمي مذكرة تفاهم مع جمعية تطوير كليات الأعمال في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية بهدف الارتقاء بآليات عمل المفوضية وتطويرها لضمان جودة التعليم في كليات إدارة الأعمال في مؤسسات التعليم العالي في الدولة وفقا لمعايير عالمية وبما يضمن تقديم محتوى أكاديمي ذي طابع تنافسي متوافق مع الأطر العالمية المتبعة في مختلف كليات إدارة الأعمال في العالم.
وقع المذكرة الدكتورمحمد يوسف بني ياس مدير مفوضية الاعتماد الأكاديمي و د . تيم ميسكون نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لجمعية تطوير كليات الأعمال – في أوروبا و الشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا وذلك عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي بحضور الشيخ الدكتور عمار المعلا مدير إدارة المنظمات والعلاقات التعليمية الخارجية و عدد من المعنين من الطرفين.
وتهدف المذكرة إلى الاستفادة من خبرة الجمعية في تدعيم أداء كليات الأعمال في مؤسسات التعليم العالي في الدولة بشكل مبتكر يضفي أبعادا جديدة على لتجربة الطلبة الأكاديمية في تلك الكليات وتوفير البيانات ذات الصلة والتي قد ترغب المؤسسات في اخذها بالاعتبار عند إنشاء برامج جديدة للتعليم العالي في مجال الأعمال أو توسيع البرامج الموجودة في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة كما تهدف المذكرة إلى تبادل المعلومات حول مقدمي الخدمات التعليمية العاملين في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة .
وقال الدكتور محمد يوسف بني ياس أن المذكرة تأتي في سياق حرص المفوضية على تحديث آليات عملها وموائمتها مع أعرق المنظمات والجمعيات ذات الصلة بما ينعكس بشكل إيجابي على جودة التعليم في مؤسسات التعليم العالي في الدولة ويضعنا في صورة أحدث التوجهات العالمية الضامنة لجودة التعليم في مؤسسات التعليم العالي.
وأوضح أن مفوضية الاعتماد الأكاديمي تسعى بشكل مستمر إلى توطيد صلاتها مع مختلف المؤسسات والهيئات العالمية المعنية بجودة التعليم العالي والاستفادة من خبراتها وتجاربها والتعاون معها بما يخدم عمل المفوضية ويمكنها من الوصول إلى أهدافها المستمدة من الرؤية الاستراتيجية لوزارة التربية والتعليم.
بدوره أشاد الدكتور تيم ميسكون بجهود مفوضية الاعتماد الاكاديمي الرامية إلى تطوير معاييرها بهدف ضمان جودة المسارات الاكاديمية في كليات الاعمال في الدولة بما يدفع قدما في تقديم تجارب أكاديمية ملهمة قائمة على البحث والتعلم ورصد التأثيرات الإيجابية الاجتماعية في مجالات الاقتصاد وإدارة الأعمال .
