أكدت وزارة التربية والتعليم على إدارات المدارس الحكومية بضرورة توجيه الطلبة خارج الدولة إلى فتح بلاغ إلكتروني لدى إدارة الدعم الفني مرفق بصورة عن بطاقة هوية الطالب، لكي يعمل الفريق على إتاحة استخدام منصات التعلم الإلكترونية ضمن برنامج التعلّم الذكي في الوزارة.
ولفتت الوزارة إلى أهمية هذا الإجراء لكي يتمكّن الطالب من خارج الدولة من الولوج إلى حصص التعلّم عن بُعد، خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني، سواء كانت متزامنة أو مباشرة، بالإضافة إلى إتاحة المجال أمامه لاستخدام الكتب الإلكترونية المتوفرة على منصة ديوان، والتطبيقات التفاعلية المختلفة في العلوم والرياضيات وغيرها.
وشرحت الوزارة أنه بعد التحقق من بيانات الطالب الرسمية، سيرسل الفريق المختص رسالة تأكيد للطالب على البريد الإلكتروني، لكي يتمكّن من خلالها التوجّه إلى رابط المنصات واستخدامها.
وكانت وزارة التربية والتعليم مع انطلاق الفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2020-2021، وعقب الإعلان عن استمرار نظام التعلّم عن بُعد، وجّهت الإدارات المدرسية بحصر الطلبة المتواجدين خارج الدولة، لكي تتمكّن من إتاحة بوابة التعلّم الذكي لهم.
من جهة ثانية، وجّهت إدارة التدريب والتنمية المهنية الإدارات المدرسية بترشيح رؤساء الوحدات الأكاديمية أو من ينوب عنهم للالتحاق ببرنامج «الدعم والإرشاد المهني للمعلمين» الذي ستنظمه في وقت قريب. ويأتي ذلك حرصاً من الإدارة على توفير الدعم للمعلمين الجدد في المدارس. واشترطت إدارة التدريب والتنمية المهنية أن المرشحين رؤساء الوحدات يجب ألا يكونوا من الكادر التعليمي.
